Maksi (Malam Apresiasi dan Kreativitas Siswa) is a traditional event held by SMPK1 BPK Penabur every 2 years. Last month, our school held it at BIKASOGA. The whole SMPK 1 students came there, and some visitors too. They have all bought the tickets and entered the building. I was a bit late so the entrance gates were already open before me. I was glad to find one of my friend waiting for me out front. I went to the VIP section and met more of my friends.
A few minutes later, the lights were turned off and an unexpected starting to the show. There were no MC so I find it quite boring but I found myself most interested in the teacher's performance and some of the dances. We stayed there for about 5 hours until evening. Half of the performances had ended and we were given some time to buy food outside the buildings. There were a variety of stalls and a popcorn cart. After stuffing ourselves, we went back in for the second half of the show. Overall, the show was quite satisfying, I hated the fact that the regular seats had better seating position than the VIP seats though. I thought to myself to never buy VIP tickets ever again.
